Horton is often to be spotted, puffing on a cigar and holding court, in a variety of similar haunts around that area if i recall!

I always thought that Hortons initial phase in the job seemed to spur us on to some great performances, against tottenham and everton especially if i remember rightly? (although i was about 9 when i witnessed them from the relative safety of the family stand, before moving on to the hallowed environs of the north stand in my teenage years!)

When you say they were discussing kinkys merits, in what manner where they discussing them? i hope not mockingly, as i think many of the younger city fans such as myself will remember kinkladze as being the ONLY thing that made it worth heading into the playground the next day to face the (seemingly) never ending throng of rags and their venom. Ill never forget those amazing goals against southampton and middlesborough and west ham etc...for people of my age, kinky was our colin bell.

Walshy was alright for an auld git too.

From what was told back to me, both Horton and Walsh were quite disparaging towards Kinkladze, not necessarily in terms of talent but his usefulness to the 'team' - a view similar to Joe Royle.

It caused a little consternation and there were definitely heated words between a patron and Paul Walsh anyway!

By the power of camera phone, hopefully there should be some pictoral evidence posted up tomorrow.

Be prepared those of you involved - your fifteen minutes awaits...

That bloke with Paul Walsh is the spit of Ian Brightwell.

More like Gerard Wiekens?

Mmmm... accept your point but Gerard had a full head of hair. Bryan 'Pop' Robson keeps springing to mind?

Danny, possibility of a competition for your readers?

"Who does the mystery man resemble?"

A small prize could be offered for the best effort maybe?

How about Mr C of The Shamen?
