Chelsea prediction

To say that getting a win at Stamford Bridge will be difficult is more than understatement. Chelsea have not been beaten at home since pre-Mourinho days and they seemed to have settled a little under Avram Grant and have again churned out results despite not playing to full potential.

Chelsea will be concerned by us though. Eriksson will have us ultra-prepared for this game, with a specific game plan in mind for the encounter.

What will be interesting is the reaction to the result. A win, and no doubt the title talk will go into overdrive and a defeat, and the press will no doubt see us denounced as a flash in the pan and not ready to mix it with the top four.

A big battle will of course how the defence holds Didier Drogba, who has at times been the lone talisman for chelsea over the past year. I remember Richard Dunne playing him pretty well at the home game last season and there will be a big responsibility on both his and Micah Richards shoulders.

We are 11/2 against to win and the bookies don't usually get it wrong. I don't see us winning and fear we will be on the wrong end of a 2-1 defeat.

However, the way this season has gone so far, come 5pm Saturday I really, really wouldn't be surprised if we did come away with all three points.

vote it up!
