Lescott's impact
He may have cost £24 million.
He may be over-rated and over-valued.
He may have helped usher Richard Dunne to the exit door.
But on his debut he played a part in us scoring from a corner.
When does that ever happen?

haha Very true, did have my money on tevez scoring from a corner though!
One other thing about... well, maybe not about Lescott but rather about ALL of the MH transfers:
Looking at the squad from the Carling Cup match, the Blues are in compliance w/ the Home Grown rule, right now. They had 3 academy lads on the field and 2 on the bench. They also had well more than 4 lads trained by other English clubs.
So, while all the squads in England need to disassemble and reassemble to minor degrees, next year, our Slickers will have had a year to gell.
Really astute, forward thinking, transfer policy.
