Further Lescott bid reported
Sky Sports News understands Manchester City are to make an improved bid for Everton defender Joleon Lescott within the next 24 hours. Money-rich City had a £15million offer for the England player rejected by the Toffees earlier in July after confirming their long-term interest in the 26-year-old. It was also suggested that Lescott may well be set to tell Everton that he wants to move.
However, Nedum Onouha should not be part of any deal to land him. Whatsoever.

So by your lights, Everton just have to sell Lescott whether they like it or not, but Man C. don't have to do anything they don't want to? Why would Everton sell a key player without having tied up a decent replacement? It's not like City are offering silly money. Everton paid £5 million for Lescott, turned him into an international player, to replace whom would cost them upwards of £15million. So it' £20 million just for Everton to stand still....

Everton have rejected city's bid ..... end of story
if glen johnson is worth 17 million joleon lescott is worth a lot more. i don't actually think city will go far enough to buy him. the transfer fee that everton want for him doesn't represent the quality of the player but moreso the value to the team. You must remember that phil jagielka will miss the first 4 months of the season through injury and joseph yobo has african nations this year.
Everton fan in peace...
big news on EFC Blueroom is that bid is 19m + Richards + Johnson.
what would view of that be ?
