Mark Hughes' men will complete their build-up for the Barclays Premier League campaign with a prestigious friendly against Celtic at the City of Manchester Stadium on Saturday, August 8 (kick-off 3pm).The visit of Glasgow's former European champions means that City will warm up for the season with an intriguing Old Firm double header, with the Celtic match preceded by a midweek clash with neighbours Rangers at Ibrox Stadium.

Watched this the Blues since 66, we have never played either of the Glasgow team's at home since then.

Newsflash: You follow a team that hasn't won a trophy of any description since 19 canteen, perennial underachievers and mid table makeweights who get bought by Sheik Instevens and now all of a sudden you're a massive club. Dont waste my time. Just because you've got money it doesnt make you a big club. Win something then brag about prestige. For all I'm no fan of your neighbours across the city they have some achievements to back up their boasts. You've got a big chequebook and bugger all else.
