Bolton prediction

Mark Hughes spoke this week of 'reigning in' our approach away from home, and as we saw signs of that at Middlesbrough with his attempts to solidify the defence.

We have the bonus of Zabaleta's return from suspension, and I imagine this will see Richards return to the centre with either Ben Haim or Garrido at left back.

Midfield is likely to be the area that Hughes looks to change, and the fall guy (as I've stated before) would likely be Elano if he opts for two more defensive minded midfielders. If so, my preference would be for Gelson to come in rather than Hamman as he would offer more mobility and more energy, with the Hamman and Kompany partnership possibly too static.

In attack, Jo is expected to be fit and I would expect him to return to the line-up as his ability to hold the ball up is more vital away from home.

Bolton are capable of causing problems, but still do not appear to have been able to replace the quality and goals of Anelka and could see themselves stuck in a relegation battle if they continue with their current form.

A tight game for me, and although a win is there for us, I think we will come away with a 1-1 draw.

vote it up!

i reckon we will win, i felt we would lose to boro and wigan...we did, have a much better feeling about this game!

we need a bit of luck, along with a quality performance swp, ireland need to step up a gear..past few games, they havent gone through all their gears, ireland needs to sharpen up in front of goal, he could be a great player, if he adds competancy to his game!

robinho again is a talisman.
hughes shouldnt be afraid to use elano, who in my eyes has been the best player this season, his work gathering the ball from the defence is unotticed by many, and can be highlighted in the newcastle game, hamann short passing game is good, but he isnt elano, who brings the ball from defence and creates opportunitys and options.

jo has to play, strurridge next, evans third.

Yow will beat us hands down, I can see a 0 - 4 result and then with a bit of luck Mystic Megson will get the chop
