Sven 'on the brink' of exit
Sky Sports News are reporting that Sven is 'on the brink' of leaving the club following a 'frank discussion' with Thaksin over the weekend.
The club stated that Sven will be taking training tomorrow, but Sky are leading with the story.
More to come no doubt.

Sky are just looking for sensational stories as the season comes to a close. They're full of it! He's not going anywhere.
could it be that our chairman isnot just disappointed -like all of us- by the after Xmas performances,but is somewhat disturbed by the strong backing/respect Sven rcvs from the media and supporters.
Thaksin appointed SGE as front man to City when most us were quite shocked at the appointment(re:England) he fit in well and has w/out doubt resurrected his career whilst putting City on the map. The question Thaksin should be asking his so called advisors is
if SGE leaves will his replacement
(probably with intl pedigree/Brazilian and more flamboyant- Scolari?) be able to meet the second year of the 3 yr plan.
SGE should stay,a publically made comment should be made by Thaksin
and not a matter of pressing the red button and destroying all that has been done already this season including the progress of our prestigous academy.
As a non-City fan, this whole thing seems a little sour. From the outside, it looks as if Sven's done a good job and the majority of City fans I've spoken to are pretty supportive of him. Must be very worrying, I hope you continue to progress (not at Villa's expense, natch), Sven or no Sven.
