City 0 Chelsea 1 - half time thoughts
A disastrous start with Richard Dunne's own goal after just five minutes, which to my mind should have been cleared with his right foot as using his left resulted in a crisp finish past stranded Joe Hart.
It looked following this that the next goal would be imminent as Chelsea attacked with purpose and numbers - Anelka in particular looking bright, with Onouha making two smart last ditch tackles.
Still, we have come back well into the game and have perhaps had the better of the game without looking quite as threatening as Chelsea in the final third.
Benjani has looked lively and purposeful but lacks that final touch of quality, but Petrov has had three good long range efforts - one well saved by Cudicini, and Ireland has also gone close.
Plenty of positives to take into the second half then as we look to take something from this game, and at the very least score our first goal against Chelsea in open play for some seven years.
Chelsea lead at half-time then, but it hasn't quite been as comfortable as Didier Drogba appears to be sat here in the stands.
