Logan loaned to Grimsby

Grimsby Town manager Alan Buckley has completed the loan signing of Manchester City teenager Shaleum Logan.
The 19-year-old, who can play on the right side of defence or midfield, is to spend a month at Blundell Park.
Logan has made two first-team appearances for City this season in the Carling Cup. He signed a three-year contract at the City of Manchester Stadium in the summer after progressing through City's successful youth academy. -BBC Sport.

Another one of the Academy graduates goes out on loan to see them gain some experience as opposed to continuing with the reserves. Although Logan has featured in two first games in the Carling Cup this season, he is still some way off a regular first team spot and although it is a relatively short space of time, he may well go out on loan again in the future with a higher division side - a move which is paying dividends with Ishmael Miller at West Brom this season.

It could also be an indication that Sven could well be fielding a full-strength side in the Carling Cup tie at Bolton.

Of course he's fielding a full-strength side. We have two seasons bad results to brush away against Bolton. And, if Sven fires the lads up properly, we can make the Elk look like the dickhead he was for us when SP made him play on his own up front...
