Sell your shares....or else

"On Friday Thaksin secured the last two holdings of 3 per cent, leaving only small shareholders of 2 per cent or less.
With City's players to return to pre-season training next week, the club are eager for Thaksin to wrap up his takeover as soon as possible.
"We would appeal to our fans now with small shareholdings to sell as quickly as possible," said a City spokesman.
"Thaksin is approaching the 70 per cent mark now. Things have not been helped by the postal strike today which has delayed things, but he could reach 75 per cent by early next week if things go well.
"If our fans want to see the pace towards a new future they want, then they need to get cracking and sell quickly to speed things along"
-Sky Sports.

Nothing like a nice bit of gentle prodding to move things along eh?

vote it up!

We don't want to go into pre-season training without a Manager.

City were just ensuring that everyone does their bit.

I hate the thought of this take over. I hate the thought of the moneygrabbing, philandering, defensive longball nonentiy scumbag as manager even more. I'll never sell, even though they'll eventually get my shares. Anybpdy want two season tickets?

Big Al

That's one of the few honest, heartfelt comments I've read during the whole debate about this.

Personally I think that there were two factors that screwed up our chances of success with Sven as England manager. First was that stupid 'diamond' that he had the players experimenting with for so long. I think he finally put that one to bed and settled on 4-4-2 as the 'English' game plan (although he did try 4-3-3 with Rooney as the backup man).

Second was that our world-beating super-heroes were 'tired'. And that was true - in the World Cup and Euro, they did look tired. That was the bit that disgusted me. Remember when you were a kid, you'd go to the local park, pick teams (coats for goalposts), and play football from dawn to dusk? Rain or shine?

What is wrong with these professional athletes? But I think you're wrong about the long ball jibe. Sven's style was always to get them to play it through.

MacLaren's side has had to resort to long balls once the back four have faffed about playing it back and forward across midfield for 80 minutes. We should have stuffed Israel. but we never actually attacked them.

Anyway mate - you don't want to sell, that's your business. Looks like Warnock the week before the season starts......
