The youth team progressed to the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup last night with a 1-0 home victory over United yesterday evening.

It was a by all accounts lacklustre performance from City side not featuring Micah Richards who was nursing a 'slight injury', but a goal five minutes from time from Kelvin Etuhu put City through to face a semi-final match up against Newcastle or Brighton.
