Duo sign up.

Some good post season news in that two young Blues have been signed up to new contracts today, following the recent extension agreements signed by Nedum Onouha and Richard Dunne.
Stephen Jordan and Lee Croft have both decided against testing the market and committed themselves to the Blues.
Full back Jordan has agreed 'in principle' to a new contract whilst Croft has penned a one year deal.
Jordan has played well at times in relief of Ben Thatcher, performing steadily without shining in quite the way Nedum Onouha has done, but lost his place to Thatcher at the end of the season when Stuart Pearce took over.
Croft is a more interesting signing as it looked for most of the season that the 'next one' as he has been dubbed was on his way as he failed to break into the squad under Kevin Keegan and spent part of the season farmed out to Oldham. However, he forced his way into the squad under Pearce and made several substitute appearances. He did show potential and perhaps a one year deal gives Pearce a full season to assess his talent and decide whether he has a long term future with the club.
Both players are not expected to be first choice players but will provide valuable cover for Pearce who faces a busy summer as he looks to build and strengthen a squad for next season without the prospect of too much cash from the board.

vote it up!
