Bosvelt on the move.

Reports yesterday suggested that City's veteran midfielder Paul Bosvelt will leave the club at the end of the season to sign a two year deal with Dutch outfit Heerenveen. Bosvelt, 35 is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and with City delaying a managerial decision until the summer, Stuart Pearce has been unable to consider offering him a new deal.
Bosvelt took some time to settle in at City last season following his arrival from Feyenoord, struggling to adjust to the quicker pace of the Premiership. This season though he has been far more impressive and has linked well with Joey Barton in the centre of midfield until he has been forced out of the starting line-up by Claudio Reyna following the return of Shaun Wright-Phillips.
It is a shame that he will be on his way though as I feel he still potentially has something to offer City certainly for next season - and made it clear he wanted to stay, but there is no way at his age he would received a two year offer so feels that the security of the offer from Heerenveen was too good to turn down.

vote it up!
